The following general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter, “General Conditions”) govern the purchase of products remotely, available via the Internet, from the website www.orodelsalento.com (hereinafter, “the Website”) in accordance with Legislative Decree 206/2005 and subsequent amendments and additions (hereinafter, “Consumer Code”).
The owner and seller of the website is: Soc.Agr. Oro del Salento srl, with registered office at Via Sant’ Antonio 60, VAT No. 02815611203, and email: info@orodelsalento.com (hereinafter www.orodelsalento.com).
The consumer, upon accessing the website to make purchases (hereinafter Customer), is required to carefully and thoroughly read these General Conditions when submitting the order, which will be available on the website at any time, as well as in the link sent in the order confirmation email and/or in a subsequent specific email.
Each contract concluded with Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl, through the website, is governed by these General Conditions. The language available for concluding the contract is Italian.
The products for sale on the website (hereinafter Product or Products) are listed on dedicated pages, where their characteristics and prices are described. The visual representation of the products typically corresponds to the photographic image, which serves solely to present them for sale and may not perfectly represent and differ in color, size, etc., from the actual product.
In case of discrepancies between the photographic image and the technical description, the technical description shall prevail. The prices specified for weights are expressed in euros.
To purchase the product, the Customer must submit the electronic purchase form by following the website’s instructions; add the products to the cart, review and confirm these general conditions and the privacy policy; enter the shipping details; choose the payment method and confirm the order.
The order confirmation serves as a contractual proposal, and the customer acknowledges and declares having read and fully accepted in all parts the General Conditions, the privacy policy, and all other information provided to them during the order process from the Website.
The contract is concluded when the order is accepted by Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl, which will be communicated via order confirmation by email, containing a link where these general conditions will be restated, downloadable, and storable.
The order confirmation email aims to summarize the list of purchased products, order number, shipping costs, and all order information.
If the Customer finds any errors or inaccuracies, they have 12 hours to inform Soc.Agr. Oro del Salento srl through the designated contact channels (email and phone) listed on the website. After 12 hours, the order will be processed and shipped.
Upon receiving the order, Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl will verify the availability of the ordered products. If one or more products are unavailable, the seller (Oro del Salento) will notify the customer by email, and the customer has 12 hours to confirm or cancel the order. If the customer confirms the order despite the unavailable products, the corresponding amount for the unavailable products will be refunded via Paypal (the only payment method) to their balance. Soc.Agr. Oro del Salento srl informs that the refund is made only to the customer’s PayPal balance/account.
After 12 hours from the communication by Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl about the unavailable products and the customer has not provided confirmation or cancellation, Soc. Agr.Oro del Salento srl will consider the order accepted for the available products, which will be shipped within the expected timeframes. The refund of the amount corresponding to the unavailable products will be made through Paypal (see above).
Shipping costs are calculated directly at the time of the order, based on non-negotiable criteria established by Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl, which are made known, accepted, and confirmed by the customer at the time of the order and purchase; they are also disclosed in the order confirmation email and/or immediately following email.
Currently, the only payment method is Paypal. Once the order is confirmed, the Customer will be redirected to the Paypal website to complete the payment, or if the order is concluded, the Customer will receive a payment request via Paypal to the email address used during the website registration.
Other payment methods must be arranged directly with the administration.
Orders are usually processed with an invoice included in the shipment. The Customer, who holds a VAT number, must provide all the data via email, to which they will receive the invoice. The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided via email.
For wholesale purchases or resellers, it is necessary to contact the administration directly by email: info@orodelsalento.com.
Products will be delivered to the address indicated by the Customer during the order process by express courier (hereinafter Courier) from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays, national holidays, and vacations. The courier will make two delivery attempts to the indicated address. After two failed attempts, the package will be held at the designated branch, where the customer is required to pick up their shipment or book a re-delivery, paying the re-delivery fee according to the courier’s rates.
Soc.Agr. Oro del Salento srl is not responsible for delays caused by the courier that are not attributable to it, nor for damages caused during delivery. The goods are not insured; the insurance service costs 6 euros and must be requested directly from the administration at the time of order confirmation by the customer. The customer agrees to sign with reservation upon delivery by the SDA courier.
Additional services, such as delivery by appointment or delivery to a specific floor, must be arranged with Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl on a case-by-case basis, which will inform the customer of the applicable additional charges.
Standard delivery times do not exceed 10 days. The choice of courier is determined by Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl based on its internal requirements, while shipment tracking is provided upon request by the administration. The same principle applies to European shipments.
The customer does not have the right to withdraw from the contract, nor to return the received goods.
The customer loses this right if they do not report the lack of conformity within 2 days of receiving the product.
In the case of products subject to such non-conformity, which by their nature and preservation are perishable or have a short expiration date, the notification of non-conformity must be made within a maximum of 7 days.
The information contained on the Website is updated regularly.
Non-Return Policy for Food Products
In accordance with the Italian Consumer Code and applicable regulations regarding distance contracts, we specify that the right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of goods that are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly. Therefore, for all food products sold, it is not possible to exercise the right of withdrawal or return after purchase.
We are committed to ensuring the maximum freshness and quality of our products, ensuring adequate packaging and shipping that preserves the organoleptic properties and food safety until delivery to your address.

In case of error, Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl cannot be held responsible, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
In the case of errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl reserves the right to modify and correct this information even after an order has been submitted, without prejudice to the rights of the Customer under the Consumer Code.
The Customer accepts without reservation that, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, any right to compensation for damages or recognition of compensation is excluded, as well as any contractual or extra-contractual liability for direct or indirect damages to persons and/or property caused by the non-acceptance or partial fulfillment of an order.

The sales contract between Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl and the Customer is considered concluded in Italy and is governed by Italian law.
For the resolution of disputes relating to the interpretation, execution, or termination of these General Conditions or individual orders, if the Customer is a consumer under the Consumer Code, the court of their residence or domicile will be competent if located in Italy. Otherwise, the exclusive jurisdiction lies with the Court of Lecce.
Pursuant to Art. 1341 of the Italian Civil Code, the Customer declares to have read and accepted without reservation, in its entirety, the General Conditions.
